RMC Plastics introduced the SG-580 in 1995 as a more economical option for our customers. A one-piece folding guard, this unit is simple to install and has a large enought diameter to fit almost all bushing sizes being used today. The bottom-ring diameter can be made larger simply by trimming away one of the sizing rings.

One of the best features of the SG-580 is that we included four button-type latches on the hinge side. These four latches provide a necessary backup function so that years down the road, if the thinner hinging section begins to show signs of age, there are more latches
available to ensure that the hinge side of the protector is still securely held together.
