From concept to completion: our process
Our process begins with you. We take the time to get to know you, your product, your company, and your vision so that we can better understand your needs and goals.
Our product designers will consult with our engineers on materials and other variables that may impact the final result. We approach your project as a team, allowing us to detect problems early in the process, thus reducing the incidence of product design revisions. We keep you in the loop every step of the way, so you are well-informed and confident through every stage.
In order to take complete advantage of the value that injection molding can deliver, parts need to be designed with manufacturing in mind. We like to work with our clients on the front end of the process by reviewing their designs and offering suggestions that will help make the project a success.
Once we have a working design, we will go through the different tooling options available, helping you choose the correct mold or tool based upon the part’s expected use and a full cost/benefit analysis.
We then provide you with sample materials and work through the material selection process. Once the mold is complete, we test the molds in a variety of materials and, finally, once the samples have been approved, we leverage our experience and fleet of injection molding machines to manufacture your parts.

Outsourcing your product fabrication and design may save you money up-front, but in the end, it will cause more problems than it solves.
Many of our clients are concerned about outsourcing their manufacturing and fabrication, afraid that their designs will be stolen. Granted, the cost advantages are sometimes quite attractive, but the perception that domestic fabrication services are that much more expensive is a little overblown.
In recent years, we have seen an increase in the domestic availability of raw materials, which is actually driving costs down. Keep in mind also that by having direct access to the process from the design phase onward will drastically reduce time-to-completion and deliver value straight to your bottom line.
